Ministries at Marie Baptist Church
Children's Ministry
Marie Kids is our vibrant children’s ministry, partnering with families to help kids grow in God’s Word and develop a lifelong love for Jesus. On Sunday mornings, children ages 3 through 5th grade enjoy age-specific classes using Lifeway curriculum, while Kids Church (preschool–5th grade) gathers for worship before the sermon. A nursery for infants through age 3 is also available before the service begins. Sunday evenings feature J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)—a fun time of learning Bible basics and worship through song. Midweek programs emphasize missions through WMU groups: Mission Friends (ages 3–Kindergarten), Girls in Action (1st–5th grade girls), and Royal Ambassadors (1st–5th grade boys). Each group learns about global missions and participates in hands-on service projects throughout the year. Every Marie Kids class is led by trained, background-checked adults, providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow in faith and joy.
Student Ministry
Marie Baptist Students exists to lead middle and high schoolers into a genuine relationship with Jesus and active service in His Church. Sunday nights feature dynamic worship and teaching from God’s Word, while Midweek gatherings offer fun games and honest small group discussions. Adult Ministry
Adult Ministry at Marie Baptist Church offers meaningful opportunities for adults of all ages to grow in faith, build community, and serve the Lord together. Whether through discipleship, worship, or fellowship, each ministry helps believers deepen their walk with Christ and strengthen the body of the church.
Our Men’s Ministry provides encouragement and accountability through fellowship, Bible study, and shared meals, helping men grow together in faith and leadership. The Women’s Ministry, part of the Georgia Baptist Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), equips women to pray, learn, give, and serve in support of missions locally and around the world. Young at Heart, our senior adult group, gathers monthly for fun, friendship, and spiritual encouragement through meals, outings, and special events.
